How the art influenced the classical music DURING the 20TH cENTURY.

I guess you have heard about Debussy, the famous composer from late 19th and early 20th Century. His music is peace for our ears. It makes us feel the sounds from the nature: birds, water and wind. Also, it transports us to the beautiful landscapes filled with colourful flowers, tress, blue skies and green everywhere. And that, obviously and clearly, has an inspiration. It is known that Debussy got inspired by the Impressionism. The famous art movement proper from the 19th century characterised for the expression of the outdoors: nature, landscapes and people. Bright and vibrant coulours.

Some of the most famous Impressionists were: Claude Monet, Paul Cezanne, Pierre Auguste Renoir, Manet, Alfred Sisley among some others.

Bearing that in mind, we can just associate any of the piano pieces from Debussy repertoire to any of the Monet paintings. That flowing water, surrounded with nature, flowers and beautiful landscapes. Resting and enjoying in peace while music sound along the beautiful and vibrant scene.
